The Emirates Youth Jazz Orchestra (EYJO) is the product of Musical Director and Conductor; Dave Holland.

The ensemble is a collaboration between schools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to collate the highest standard of musicianship and form an ensemble where students can play the highest level of jazz music and interact with others on the same par. This is an attempt to recognize the artistic talent in the UAE and assist in developing, highlighting and supporting young musicians.

This project is without funding, yet supported by passionate and talented musicians and educators in the region. Each of these supporters volunteer their time to ensure that these students receive the highest level of education and support in order to provide a sustainable and outstanding ensemble to empower young people to thrive within this art form.

This ensemble has received interest from the Arabian Radio Network and is seeking funding as an NGO to date.
